They tried to put Beignet on the cover of Vogue, but his legs were too long! A gentle giant, Beignet is 12 years and 16.5 lbs of leg (and tummy). Beignet and his brother Will came into the shelter because their owner could no longer care for them. Since joining us, Beignet has been open to making human friends and feline enemies. Though he lived successfully with his littermate all his life, Beignet found a rival in neighboring old man King, who bangs at the condo door at all hours asking to come out. Beignet prefers to use his words to ask to come out and walk around like a civilized man! We have since marked Beignet as cat-selective due to his immense displeasure towards his shelter neighbors. Hopefully Petco will be a happy change of scenery for him! Beignet is independent but affectionate when it comes to staff, enjoying head butts and then taking his cattery stroll. If you want a low maintenance roommate of a cat, Beignet may be your boy!
