Hi, I’m Diesel! I’m a goofy, lovable guy with a big personality and an even bigger heart! I was originally found as a stray before my previous owners made the difficult decision to surrender me, so now I’m looking for a fresh start with a family of my own. I absolutely love attention, treats, and being part of whatever my people are doing. My friends here say I have a bit of a “bull in a china shop” personality—I get so excited that I sometimes forget where my feet are! I walk nicely, love carrying things around (including occasionally trying to “help” by holding my own leash), and I’m always ready for my next adventure. I likely didn’t have much formal training before coming to the shelter, so I’m still learning things like manners, boundaries, and how to make the best choices. I’m a smart boy who’s eager to learn, and with consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, I know I’ll continue to make great progress. Because I can get a little overexcited around food and toys, I’d do best with older children who can understand and respect my space.
