Hi, I’m Diesel! I’m a goofy, loving guy who is always ready for fun and wants to be part of whatever you’re doing. I absolutely love fetch (and sometimes a little game of keep-away!) and I’m very food motivated, which makes training a great way to keep my mind busy. I can be a bit of a strong, enthusiastic boy and sometimes get overexcited, so I’ll do best with an adopter who can provide structure, clear boundaries, and continued training to help me channel all my energy in positive ways. I enjoy meeting new people and have done well taking corrections from other dogs, though I’m not a good fit for a home with cats. Once I settle in, I form strong bonds and love being close to my people—even resting my head on your shoulder for car rides! I’m looking for a committed home ready to guide me and help me grow, because underneath my bulldozer moments is a very sweet, loyal companion who just wants to love and be loved.
