Hi, I’m Lauren!
I’m a very affectionate, playful girl who loves being close to my people—once I choose you, I really stick by your side. When I’m excited and want attention, I’ll happily weave between your legs asking for pets (and maybe sneak in a few kisses!). I also enjoy cuddling, playing fetch, and even relaxing with my people—I’ve even been known to sit and watch TV.

During my time in a foster home, I was a little unsure at first but settled in quickly once I felt safe. I tend to feel most comfortable in calm spaces and appreciate having time to explore new environments at my own pace. I’m medium energy: I enjoy walks, playtime, and zoomies, but I also love quiet downtime and cozy naps.

I form strong bonds and often connect closely with one person before gradually warming up to others. Like many dogs, I do best with clear boundaries and thoughtful management—especially around food and interactions with other dogs. While in foster care, there was an incident involving food and another dog where a person was unintentionally injured while trying to intervene, which reinforced that I benefit from structure, space, and calm handling in higher-stress situations.

I’m now back at the shelter and looking for a patient, understanding home that will let me settle in at my own pace and continue building confidence with positive guidance. If you’re searching for a loyal, loving companion who thrives with consistency and compassion, I may be the girl for you.
