Ollie is an adorable 5-month-old puppy with so much potential, but he’s looking for a very special home that understands he’s still learning how to navigate the world. Despite his young age, Ollie has shown resource guarding behaviors and can be uncomfortable with quick movements toward his face, responding by snapping when he feels threatened. Ollie will need a committed adopter who is prepared to invest in positive reinforcement training, continued socialization, and thoughtful management to help him build confidence and appropriate coping skills. Because he needs his boundaries respected, Ollie is looking for an adult-only home, or at minimum a home with children 13 years or older. We truly believe Ollie has the ability to become a wonderful companion with the right guidance, patience, and commitment. His future family should be ready to celebrate the small victories and help him become the best version of himself.
