The star of the shelter, Patty Star is a top contender for future cuddle bug and lap warmer status! This lovely lady was found stray at a tennis court and seemed immediately out of place. We’re unsure if she was on an ill-fated escapade and went unclaimed or if she found herself there through no fault of her own, but it was clear Patty was supposed to be a spoiled indoor girl. Patty Star is famous for crawling up on sitting staff and volunteers to put her paws on their chest and give head butts. Adjusted into a home, we could easily imagine her settling down for a snooze after.

Due to her background, we don’t know how Patty Star feels about living with cats, dogs, or small children. As a result of her sweet nature and easygoing temperament in-shelter, Patty may be a good option for a variety of homes… as long as they can ensure no more trips out for tennis for her. Trust us—it was more fun in theory than in practice. This suits her far better.
