Don't take her skeptical expression to heart—Petunia is a fresh face around the shelter and hasn't settled in yet. Much like a delicate flower waiting to bloom, we think Petunia will blossom with some patience, love, and care. Described by her previous owner as loving & sweet with an independent streak that made her a low maintenance girl, Petunia unfortunately had to be surrendered due to a move. She lived with both cats and dogs and reportedly enjoyed playing with them, as well as chasing wand toys around for her humans! Petunia is on the hefty side and will need an adopter who is comfortable portioning food and keeping it low calorie. Once she loses weight, we hope she will enjoy playing even more than she does now!
