Hi, I’m Ripley! I’m a timid little Jack Russell mix who’s still learning to trust people. I like being near my human friends and I’m beginning to seek out affection, but I’m still unsure if it’s really safe. Every day, I’m making small steps, including learning to let our staff pick me up. I haven’t mastered walking on a leash yet.
I’m looking for a patient adopter and a quiet home where I can continue building confidence. We think I’ll make the biggest strides once I’m able to relax in a home of my own.
If you’d like to meet me, just know I may need a little extra time to warm up. My meet won’t be the typical tail-wagging greeting-but that’s what makes my progress so rewarding!
