Hi, I’m Sweetie! I came from a large hoarding case, so the world was a very scary place when I first arrived. Thanks to patience, kindness, and a wonderful foster home, I’m learning something new every day. I’m a smart girl who picks up new things quickly and absolutely loves playing with other dogs—they’ve helped me gain so much confidence! While I’m still a little shy with people and prefer to retreat to my crate when I need a safe space, I continue to make progress at my own pace. I enjoy running around the yard, playing with toys, and being part of a routine. My ideal home would have another friendly dog to help show me the ropes and a patient family who understands that trust takes time. I may not be the kind of dog who wants cuddles right away, but if you let me blossom on my own timeline, I know I’ll become a loyal companion who’s worth every bit of the journey.
