Hi, I’m Zeplin! I came to the shelter from a large hoarding case, so the world has been a pretty overwhelming place for me. When I first arrived, everything felt scary—but every single day I’ve become a little braver. Now I happily come over to be leashed, enjoy my walks, and have even started jumping onto the bench to give kisses and little nose boops to the people I trust. I still get nervous with loud noises and unfamiliar situations, but I’ve learned that good things happen when patient people are by my side. Once I feel safe, I’m a sweet, gentle boy who enjoys affection and is eager to keep building confidence. I’m looking for a calm, understanding family that will let me continue blossoming at my own pace. Watching me grow from a frightened dog into a loving companion has been an incredible journey, and I can’t wait to keep that journey going with my forever family.
