DESCRIPTION:  \n🐾 Clear the Shelters Adoption Event 🐾 \n📅 August 15 & 16\, 2026\n🕙 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM\n📍 York County SPCA\n🏡 Find your new best friend during Clear the Shelters!\nJoin us for this nationwide adoption event dedicated to helping shelter pets find loving homes. During this special two-day event\, adoption fees will be waived for all adoptable animals six months of age and older! 🎉\n🐶🐱 Kittens and puppies under six months of age will still be available for adoption at their regular adoption fee.\nEvery adoption creates space for another homeless animal in need. ❤️ \n📋 Event Information\n✨ Adoptions are first come\, first served. There will be no holds and no regular adoption appointments during the event.\n🚪 Please Note: The shelter will be closed for regular adoption browsing on Friday\, August 15\, as we will be operating exclusively for the Clear the Shelters event.\n📝 We strongly encourage submitting an adoption questionnaire at least 3 days before the event to help speed up the adoption process.\n🏠 Some adoptable pets are currently in foster homes. Please check their online profiles before visiting so we can coordinate a meet-and-greet if needed.\n🐾 Most pets can go home the same day! However\, unaltered animals cannot leave the shelter until they have been spayed or neutered.
