For nearly a century, the York County SPCA has been at the forefront of animal welfare in our community. From finding loving forever homes for stray and displaced animals to promoting public education on pet care and safety, we are more than a shelter—we are a dedicated community resource for all York County residents and their pets. As a locally funded 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN 23-1399588), we receive no support from national groups like the ASPCA, making local contributions essential to our work.
In 2023, we achieved a save rate of over 90% for the second year in a row, solidifying our status as a no-kill shelter. Yet, as the number of animals in need grows, so does our need for partners who believe in this mission.
