Event Details:
- This event is for on-site adult dogs (6 months and older) only.
- First-come, first-served – no appointments accepted and not for pre-scheduled adoptions.
- The list of available dogs will be shared on Friday morning on our social media channels and posted in the shelter lobby.
Please note: Foster dogs will not be included in Free Adoption Friday events. This special offer applies only to dogs currently onsite at the York County SPCA. Come walk through, meet the pups, and see who steals your heart!
Dog Adoption Reminders:
- Please bring your own collar and leash if you plan to adopt (limited supplies available for purchase at the shelter).
- Most dogs can go home with you the same day, though some may need a follow-up pickup due to medical or scheduling needs. Our staff and volunteers are here to help—please be patient as they work hard to match every dog with the right family.
