Hi, I’m Alf! You might recognize me—I was adopted from the York County SPCA in October 2025 and thought I had found my forever home. Unfortunately, my family had to move, and because of breed restrictions where they could live, they made the heartbreaking decision to bring me back. They loved me very much and said if they could change one thing about me, it would only be my breed so they could have kept me. They describe me as a goofy, playful guy who loves spending time outside, playing fetch, chewing on toys, and hanging out with his people. I know my basic commands like sit, stay, and paw, enjoy car rides, and have lived with children. I’m happiest when I’m included in whatever my family is doing, whether it’s relaxing on the couch, exploring the backyard, or heading out for an adventure. I can get excited on walks and occasionally pull on the leash, but with a little guidance I’m eager to keep learning. If you’re looking for a fun-loving best friend with a big heart and an even bigger personality, I’d love the chance to show you why my first family fell in love with me.
