Aurora is a gentle girl looking for a patient family willing to continue helping her build confidence. She was recently adopted, but sadly returned when her adopter’s work schedule no longer allowed them to give Aurora the time and support she needed to thrive. Through it all, Aurora has continued to make progress and show just how resilient she can be. While she can still be nervous in new situations, Aurora has come a long way since arriving at the shelter. She is walking better on a leash and is becoming more comfortable exploring the world around her. Aurora prefers to move at her own pace and needs an adopter who understands that trust takes time. Once she feels safe, Aurora shows glimpses of the sweet, affectionate dog she’s becoming. She is looking for a calm, understanding home that will celebrate her progress, support her through her challenges, and give her the patience she deserves.
