Hi, I’m Jenny! I’m a sweet, easygoing girl who’s happiest when I’m by your side- my foster mom calls me her little “house hippo” because I love following her from room to room. I’m a low-energy dog who enjoys relaxing on the porch, wandering around the yard, and chasing my favorite Jolly Ball every now and then. When I want some love, I’ll gently rest my head on your knee or give you a little nose poke to remind you it’s time for pets (bonus points if you scratch the base of my tail!). I get along wonderfully with other dogs, enjoy meeting new people, and settle into new environments with ease.
I do have a few medical conditions that my future family should know about. I have chronic skin allergies and hypothyroidism, which means I’ll need lifelong medical management to help me feel my best. Right now, that includes a prescription diet, medication, and regular checkups with my veterinarian. I’ll also need routine bloodwork, about every six months, to monitor my health and make sure my treatment is working well. My care is very manageable with a committed family, and I promise I’m worth the extra effort! If you’re looking for a loyal, laid-back best friend. I’m your girl!
