Lane is a reserved kitty who didn’t expect to find herself in the shelter. Found in an alley, we could tell immediately that Lane belonged to someone thanks to her luxurious well-maintained coat and previous spay. However, nobody came forward for her. She isn’t thrilled about being here and spends most of her day hiding in her bed, afraid of the busy shelter noise, but we think she will blossom in a quiet, calm home. Lane will require continued coat maintenance due to her impressive fur length, so be prepared to brush!

Due to her backstory, we don’t know how Lane feels about living with cats, dogs, and kids. Based on her shelter behavior, Lane would likely thrive in a low energy household without too many other pets (or mellow animals) or small children. She would make a lovely friend for someone hoping to have a cat to sit beside them and brush the days away. If that sounds like you, Lane might be your girl!
