Hi, I’m Louie! I came from a large hoarding case, so the world can still feel a little overwhelming sometimes, but every day I grow more confident and comfortable. Once I feel safe, my sweet personality shines through—I’m affectionate, playful, and love giving kisses to my favorite people. I enjoy the best of both worlds: long walks, exploring, puzzle toys, and playing with other dogs, but I’m also perfectly happy curling up on the couch for a relaxing evening. I’ve done wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, am indifferent to cats, and warm up to new people with a little patience and space. As a smart Collie mix, I love having both physical exercise and mental enrichment to keep me engaged. I may need a little time to adjust to a new home, but once I trust you, I’ll be your loyal companion and best friend. My foster family says I have so much love to give—and they’re absolutely right.
