Meet Missy! 💕 This sweet girl has been through more than most, but you’d never know it from her happy attitude. Missy greets life with a wagging tail, a bright spirit, and a determination that’s impossible not to admire. She’s eager to be with her people, loves treats, and she’s a true little trooper who keeps moving forward. All she’s missing now is a soft place to land with someone willing to love her just as she is.
Missy does have several medical needs that her future family should be prepared for. She recently had a dental procedure but will need continued veterinary follow-up to check on her mouth. Both of her cherry eyes were surgically repaired, though they were severe and may take time to fully heal, and there is a possibility they could return. She has chronic dry eye that will require lifelong eye ointment, and while she can see, her vision is limited. She has also been treated for a skin infection on her feet and may need ongoing care for her skin. Despite all of this, Missy remains incredibly resilient and doesn’t let her medical challenges stop her from enjoying life.
