Looking for someone to fill a hole in your heart? So is Patches! Patches came to the shelter after his owner passed and there was no next of kin to take him. He’s still warming up to us and getting more comfortable in the shelter life, but he sure enjoys cheek scratches, head butts, and booty scratches! Patches seems like he would enjoy serving as a mellow companion to a person who likes quiet company and lazy mornings.

Unfortunately, due to his backstory, we don’t have much information about how Patches acted at home and whether he was good with cats, dogs, or young children. We look forward to getting to know Patches for as long as it takes to find him his second happy ever after.
