Hi, I’m Rosebud! I found my way back to the shelter after being adopted a couple of years ago because my previous family found it difficult to manage my reactions to unfamiliar dogs while out and about. Around people, though, I’m an absolute sweetheart! I can be a little shy when we first meet, but give me a few minutes and I’ll happily soak up all the love and attention you have to offer. I’m much more interested in spending time with my people than playing with toys or snacking on treats, and I love being the center of your affection. I can still be a little unsure during things like leashing up, but with gentle handling and patience, I continue to build confidence. I’m looking for a home with older children or adults who understand my needs and can help me continue to thrive. In return, you’ll get a loyal, affectionate companion with so much love to give.
