Unlike the popular slogan, Snickers is the most herself when she’s hungry—and with pigs, that’s most of the time! Snickers came into the shelter with her daughters as her previous owner was unable to afford to have all of them. The owner was told Snickers was a male, and suddenly there were bonus guinea pigs! Snickers is a two year old female described by her previous family as reserved at first, but she opens up into a vocal, playful, and well-handled girl who lived with human kids and adults alike.

Snickers was separated from her babies when they were younger and would need to be reintroduced to them, but did great with another guinea pig and did not show any abnormal behaviors toward her offspring. Guinea pigs (particularly females) are recommended to be housed in pairs or other groups, so this would be a good opportunity to have a young family!
