I’m Starboard!

I’m a sweet but very fearful Jack Russell mix who is still learning that people can be trusted. I want affection and I’m slowly starting to ask for it, but I’m still nervous and take things one step at a time. I’m now comfortable letting our staff pick me up, though I’m not walking on a leash yet.
I’ll do best in a quiet home with someone who understands that building trust can’t be rushed. We think a home is exactly what I need to really start coming out of my shell.
