It’s time for the ultimate adoption showdown! Join the York County SPCA for our annual March Muttness event, where all adult dog adoption fees are waived for one special Saturday only.
Our seasoned MVPs are ready to leave the bench and head straight into loving forever homes. Adult dogs often come with established personalities, basic manners, and so much love to give — and during March Muttness, they’re available with a $0 adoption fee.

How It Works

Adult dog adoptions are first come, first served.

We strongly encourage adopters to complete a general dog adoption questionnaire at least three days prior to the event to help streamline the process. Complete a questionnaire here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/YORK/Dog
Most adult dogs will be able to go home the same day, so be prepared to take them home after the adoption is finalized!
