Ace Ventura came to the shelter through no fault of his own and was understandably overwhelmed by the transition. When he first arrived, he kept to himself, but with plenty of patience, love from our staff, and a few cheese curls along the way, this handsome boy has slowly started to let his true personality shine. While the shelter still isn’t his favorite place, Ace has blossomed into a goofy, playful companion who enjoys spending time with the people he trusts. He may not be the kind of dog who wins you over in the first five minutes, but if you’re willing to give him the time and patience he needs, you’ll discover a loyal, loving best friend.
