Pennsylvania State Police Seek Information on Dogs Abandoned in Springfield Township

York, PA – On July 7th, 2025, the Pennsylvania State Police in York County found two dogs in the area of Lake Redman in Springfield Township. The two dogs were tied to a tree in the area of the Lake Redman boat launch. The dogs are described as one being black and white with curly hair, possibly a poodle or poodle mix, and the other black and white husky or husky mix. The dogs are currently in the custody of the York County SPCA.
