Hi, I’m Lauren! I’m an affectionate, playful girl who loves being close to my people. Once I bond with you, I’ll happily stick by your side, weaving between your legs for pets, sneaking in kisses, and curling up for cuddles or even a little TV time. In my foster home I was a bit unsure at first but settled in quickly once I felt safe. I’m a medium-energy dog who enjoys walks, playtime, and zoomies, but I also love relaxing and taking cozy naps. I tend to bond closely with one person and warm up to others over time, and I do best with clear boundaries and thoughtful management, especially around food and other dogs. I’m now back at the shelter and looking for a patient, understanding home that will give me time to settle in and continue building confidence with positive guidance.

It is important to note that Lauren was involved in a dog-to-dog altercation during which she redirected and bit a human. The bite was classified as a Level 3 on the Ian Dunbar Dog Bite Scale.
