This event is for onsite adult dogs (6 months and older) only.
First come, first served – no appointments accepted and not for pre-scheduled adoptions.
The list of dogs available will be shared Friday morning on our social media channels and posted in the lobby of the shelter.
Please Note: Foster dogs will not be included in Free Adoption Friday events. This special offer only applies to dogs who are currently onsite at the York County SPCA. Come walk through, meet the pups, and see who steals your heart!
Dog Adoption Reminders:
Please bring your own collar and leash if you plan to adopt (limited supplies available for purchase at the shelter).
Most dogs can go home with you the same day, though some may need a follow-up pickup due to medical or scheduling needs. Our staff and volunteers are here to help—please be patient as they work hard to match every dog with the right family.
