Join the York County SPCA for a low-cost pet microchipping clinic on Saturday, April 12, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Microchipping your pet is a simple, permanent way to increase the chances of being reunited if they ever get lost. Unlike collars and tags, which can fall off or become unreadable, a microchip is embedded under the skin and linked to your contact information in a secure database.
PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION BELOW TO REGISTER
Single Animals
To bring one animal to be microchipped, visit our scheduling page here. Appointments are in 5-minute blocks, and the cost is $20 per person. Register Here!
Multiple Animals
You can bring up to three animals for microchipping. If you would like to bring in multiple animals to be microchipped – Register Here!
Please arrive to your scheduled appointment 5 minutes before the start time. As you enter the property, stay to the left of the building, following the signs for the spay and neuter clinic. Once parked, a volunteer will come to your vehicle and get your name, your pet’s name, and the appointment time. The volunteer will place a number on your back windshield. Please stay in your car until a volunteer comes to your window to tell you it is time for your appointment.
If you have any questions, please contact jkrebs@ycspca.org
Please note: If your pet has issues with aggression, extreme fear, being handled by strangers, etc., we recommend microchipping them at your vet’s office.
