Hi, I’m Athena! I’m a hippo-shaped bully with the softest soul, surrendered through no fault of my own and still learning that it’s okay to relax and feel safe again. I can be a little reserved at first, but once I settle in, my gentle, affectionate personality really shines. I love the simple things in life—rolling in the grass, going for walks or car rides, playing with a toy, and most of all snuggling up on the couch with my people. I’ve proven to be housebroken and do well with a consistent routine, happily napping in cozy spots and keeping myself entertained between cuddle sessions.
