Tofu is a handsome large mixed-breed dog with striking eyes and a gentle personality that is just beginning to shine through. Since arriving at the shelter, he has been slowly coming out of his shell and showing us more of who he is each day. Tofu may be a little reserved when meeting new people, but he appreciates being given the time and space to get comfortable at his own pace. Once he starts to feel safe, his sweet nature begins to emerge. As we’re still getting to know him, we’re excited to continue watching his confidence grow. Because Tofu came to us as a stray, we don’t have any information about his past. What we do know is that he’s looking for a patient and understanding family willing to let him settle in and adjust. With kindness, consistency, and a little time, Tofu has all the potential to become a wonderful companion.
