The York County SPCA is pleased to announce the results of its annual meeting, at which the Board of Directors elected a new executive committee and board members.
The following individuals have been elected to serve in leadership roles for the York County SPCA’s Board of Directors:
- President – Katie Mahoney, York County Economic Alliance
- Vice President – Sue DeStephano, First Capital Federal Credit Union
- Secretary – Brett Marcy, Apollo Communications
- Treasurer – Tyler Lerman, Smith Wealth Advisory Group of Janney Montgomery Scott
- Immediate Past President – Holly Gumke, Penn State York
“It’s been remarkable to experience the transformation of the York County SPCA over these last several years of board involvement,” said newly elected board president Katie Mahoney. “As we create plans for future growth and expansion of services and our footprint in York County, it’s an honor to serve as president of the board for an organization of which I care so deeply.”

In addition to electing new board leadership, two new volunteer board members joined the organization:
- Christian Miller, MPL Law Firm
- Kevin Schmidt, DVM, Patton Veterinary Hospital
