September Topic: How to Socialize Rescued and Adult Dogs

Solving and Preventing Dog Problems will take place virtually as a Facebook Live event. These free seminars teach you how to manage and prevent common problematic behaviors in dogs such as unwanted jumping, leash pulling, and more. September's seminar will cover a very important topic - socialization. Trainers Deb Byloff and Cathy Hivner will discuss how to socialize dogs with a particular focus on rescued and adult dogs.

Deb and Cathy are both established dog trainers who have been helping the York County SPCA and York community work with seemingly unmanageable dogs for many years. Previously called Obedience Training Seminars, we're excited to relaunch these sessions to focus more on troubleshooting your dog's specific issues. In the live event, you can submit your questions for Deb and Cathy in the comments section next to the live video stream. We will spend the first half of the seminar discussing a specific behavior, and the second half of the seminar answering questions. This class is free and open to the public.
